Augusta is the local outreach ministry of Crawford Avenue. Reconcile Augusta
seeks to reach and partner with the residents of Harrisburg, Augusta, and the
CSRA through the work of the gospel to bring reconciliation to God, self,
others, and the rest of creation. There are several ways to be involved with Reconcile Augusta:
"The Burg" is a newsletter for the people of Harrisburg by the people of Harrisburg. "The Burg" seeks to develop community and build relationships in Harrisburg by aggregating the "goings-on" of the neighborhood into one, central location, while showcasing the awesome gifts and talents of the neighborhood.
There are several ways to be involved with “The Burg”. Anyone is welcome to contribute content, and we are always looking for more writers and artists of all types! Additionally, once a month volunteers walk door-to-door to distribute “The Burg”.
Work Life is a biblically integrated job preparedness curriculum designed specifically for people with backgrounds of generational poverty. In addition to practical job skills, the curriculum empowers participants to recognize that God is at work in the world and that their jobs are a way of participating in that work.
Currently, we are looking for an
established community partner to team up with in developing this
Reconcile Augusta partners with a number of organizations within the community to further foster biblical relationships, change lives, and communicate the Gospel. From various churches, to financial and housing development programs, to whole foods growth and preparedness initiatives, to academic institutions, Reconcile Augusta seeks to leverage the gifts and talents of the neighborhood for the Gospel.
