GET DIRECTIONS

WHAT IF IT'S MY FIRST SUNDAY?

We’d love to meet you and help get you settled! Stop by our welcome table before or after the service to introduce yourself and pick up a gift. You can find the welcome table outside to the right of the sanctuary building; just look for our "Welcome to Crawford Avenue" banner and you'll be sure to find us. We'll be ready and available to answer any questions you have about the church.

WHERE DO I PARK?

There are two main parking lots at CABC and plenty of parking all around the neighborhood. The largest lot is a grass lot shaded by pecan trees, located at the corner of Crawford Avenue and Telfair Street; this lot is directly across the street from our campus. There is also a paved lot by the gym located on the corner of Crawford Avenue and Walker Street. Overflow parking is available at Lamar-Milledge Elementary School, directly behind Crawford Avenue. Street parking is also available in the vicinity; just be sure that you are legally parked.

WHAT'S AVAILABLE FOR CHILDREN?

When you arrive, you’ll be greeted by a member of our Welcome Team who will be available to guide you to our childcare areas during Sunday worship gatherings. Our staff is friendly, trained, and committed to creating a safe and fun environment for kids to learn how to follow Jesus.  All childcare workers have had a background check to further ensure the safety of our kids

Families with children of all ages are welcome to attend gathered worship together as a family unit.

FAQs

Below are the answers to some of the most frequently asked questions.

How long is the service?

Each worship gathering starts at 10:30am and lasts for approximately an hour and thirty minutes.

Where do I go when I arrive?

We’ll have volunteers from our Welcome Team outside to guide you to the gathering space or children’s ministry areas when you arrive. If you have any questions or needs while you’re with us, just stop by our Welcome Table (towards the back of the gathering space in the hospitality area). We’d love to meet you.

Will I be singled out?

No. We will not ask visitors to stand and be recognized, to give a testimony, to come to the front, or anything like that.

Will I be pressured to give money?
No. We will not pressure you to give, we’re simply thrilled that you chose to visit. You're our guest, and we want you to feel like our guest! In fact, we'll have a free gift for you (see above under "First Time Guest"). When we accept financial offerings from members and regular attendees during worship, all you have to do is pass the basket. If you're comfortable filling out a Connection Card, you can place it in the basket as its passed. If you want to give to support the church, you are certainly welcome to do so.

What if my life is messy and I don’t have everything together… am I still welcome?

Yes. In fact, we’d be honored to have you as our guest. If having one’s life together was a requirement to attend – then CABC wouldn’t exist! We admit to being messy people who make up an imperfect family. The good news of the gospel is that God offers messy people like us a perfect purpose, hope, and joy through Jesus Christ.

How should I dress?

The Bible tells us that “man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.” We want our attire to be modest and honoring to God. On a typical Sunday, you’ll probably find most folks at CABC in something like jeans and a collared shirt. However, some wear a coat and a tie while others wear shorts and flip-flops. Simply put: come as you are.

Is there a nursing space for mothers?

Yes. We have a Mothers' Room space specifically dedicated for moms that includes nursing space, changing tables, a bottle warmer, and a small play area for little ones. The Mothers' Room is located in the hallway by the water fountains outside of the sanctuary.
